Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members on Sunday called on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif at the office of National Accountability Bureau, Lahore.
According to details, the meeting continued for more than an hour. Maryam Nawaz, Nusrat Shehbaz, Hamza Shehbaz and other members of the Sharif family were also present on this occasion.
According to sources, the Sharif family in the meeting discussed the prevailing political situation, NAB cases and party affairs.
Shehbaz was arrested on October 5 by NAB inside its Lahore office where he was summoned to record his statement in connection with the Punjab Saaf Pani Company case. Shehbaz Sharif is facing corruption charges in a number of cases. The accountability watchdog had arrested him over his alleged involvement in a multi-billion rupees housing scam.
