ISLAMABAD: The four suspects who were allegedly involved in a sexual assault case in the city’s F-9 park were given under the police custody for 14-days judicial remand on Thursday morning.
The suspects were reportedly involved in blackmailing and threatening the 22-year-old girl by alleging indecent acts against her.
The alleged culprits then reportedly extracted Rs 2000 bribe from the girl and told her to leave the park by opting a route into the woods.
After that, they approached the girl and one of them proceeded to sexually assault her.
The alleged culprits are identified as two guards at a private company and two employees of the City District Administration (CDA).
According to the reports, the two of four are said to be involved in the assault the other two suspects, gardener Shiraz Kiyani and guard Murad Khan, told the police.
One of the two who confessed the crime later identified the spot of crime as well.
