LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Information Fayyazul Hassan Chohan on Tuesday said that the Punjab government has decided to celebrate Basant in Lahore.
Addressing a press conference the provincial minister of information said that the Basant is a cultural festival of Lahore through which had a business billions of rupees.
The minister said that the cultural circles of Lahore had been asking to celebrate Basant festival. “The festival creates enormous economic activity and is a source of promoting tourism.”
Chohan went on to say that Basant will be celebrated in Lahore in the second week of February.
