ISLAMABAD: The first official Hajj flight of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has taken off from Islamabad for Saudi Arabia earlier on Thursday (Today).
The flight named PK-2503 took off from Benazir International Airport with 328 intending pilgrims travelling through it.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousuf saw off these intending pilgrims from Benazir International Airport. More than one lakh intending pilgrims will go to Saudi Arabia for Hajj this year.
Hajj flights from Karachi and Lahore carrying 320 and 220 intending pilgrims respectively also left for Saudi Arabia on Thursday morning.
